Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations by ensuring invoices are processed accurately and vendors are paid on time. Responsibilities - Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
- Review and verify invoice coding and approval workflows
- Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation
- Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations
- Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues
Qualifications - 2+ years of accounts payable experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP processes
- Experience with ERP or accounting software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience processing high-volume invoices
- Knowledge of three-way matching and general ledger coding

Pay: $25-$28/hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, full-time
